  Berkeley Party goes public with their Berkeley Public Community Forum, running the first of three ads in the Berkeley Daily Planet. The other two are set for the 25th and 29th of September.   Campaign Disclosure Statement (California Form 460) is filed with the Berkeley City Clerk covering contributions and expenditures for the period 1 January 2001 through 30 June 2001.

  The Berkeley Party spends over $250.00 thus becoming an independent committee according to The Berkeley Election Reform Act. On 16 April 2001, the City of Berkeley Statement of Organization was filed with the City Clerk by Tim Hansen, Treasurer.
